REGISTRATION

Please collect your badge at the badge printing stations in the San Juan Foyer (Third floor) by scanning your QR-Code, sent to you by email. To avoid delays at the registration desk, please make sure to have the QR-Code ready! There is no need to print the email.

Please have your QR CODE available on your mobile device and make sure the brightness of your screen is set to maximum when arriving in the registration area. When scanning your QR Code, your badge will be printed automatically. Our registration staff will be available to assist you in case of any questions.

Traveling to the Westin Seattle from SEA
Link Light Rail  – 3 min walking distance away from the hotel:

Sound Transit’s Link light rail 1 Line makes trips from Angle Lake Station to Lynnwood through downtown Seattle making 17 stops along the way, including downtown Seattle and SEA Airport. Trains arrive every 8 to 15 minutes, depending on the time of day, and take about 40 minutes to travel between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Westlake Station in downtown Seattle.

Schedule:
Mon-Sat, 5:00am–1:00am (last train from the airport departs at 1:15 am)
Sun, 6:00am–midnight (last train from the airport departs at 11:27pm)

The easiest way to pay for your ride is with an ORCA card, which you can purchase at a ticket machine. You can also buy one-way, return or all day rail tickets. Ticket machines accept cash and credit/debit cards such as Visa or MasterCard. Or buy a ticket on your phone with the Transit GO ticket app.

Weather / What to Pack

The weather in Seattle is predicted to be cool and cloudy, with a mix of showers. Average temperatures are in the mid 50°s F (10°-12° C) during the day and mid 40°s F (6°-8° C) at night. Conference attire is business casual. Remember that hotel ballrooms can be cool so bring a light sweater or jacket.

The app is accesible to attendees only – you will be asked to create your log in details for the app with the Email used in your conference registration.

PROGRAM

A printed pocket program with a program overview and helpful information for onsite participation will be provided to all participants.

To browse and view (poster) sessions with their corresponding abstracts, view them on the Event App.

Good to know

Please note that on Sunday, 2 November, daylight saving time will end. Clocks will be set back one hour (from summer time to winter time).

NETWORKING PROGRAM

Please note that advance registration is mandatory for all networking events. Admission is only possible with your congress badge. Please wear your badge for all events. Check your invoice or confirmation of payment to see if you are registered for a networking event.

PHOTOGRAPHS & VIDEO STREAMING

The organizer may without the further consent of the participants use and release pictures and videos taken during the congress for reports of the congress and/or in future marketing materials. By registering to this congress, participants agree that photographs, sound or video recordings taken during the congress that could include recognizable images or voices of those in attendance, may be used on the Cytokines website. All recordings are treated sensitively and discreetly. Names will not be published. The organizer reserves the right to use images taken at the congress with your photograph and/or likeness on social media (e.g. Twitter,) and/or in future marketing materials. The organizer is NOT responsible for individual attendee’s use of your image or likeness.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

Confirmations of attendance will be issued electronically via email after the congress to all participants.

Reminder for U.S. attendees:

Election Day falls on November 4. Please plan ahead and consider early or absentee voting options in your state.
